I took my 2001 S over to the Honda dealer today. The service rep test drove it and it does need to have the updated clutch disk. My appt for it is Sept 4th. I have 24,000 miles on mine. I hope this prevents any future problems.

As someone mentioned the difference between the 2001 clutch and the 2002 is very noticable. It's not stiff at all, the clutch is very soft. It does take some getting used to, but I'm loving it. Besides it's a new clutch @ 25K miles. Can't beat that!

I think they just replaced my clutch disk as they did yours. I'll cehck the paperwork tomorrow. In my case, the clutch does feel completely different. But I definitely agree, it feels like a new car again and it is great!!!

Does the 2nd gear grind aply to the 2002? I have an '02 and it grinds a bit when I shift to 2nd at high rpm.

A question for all of you who have had the clutch TSB.... I've got 5000 mi on my '00 S2000, and I was wondering whether I should wait until I have higher miles to get the clutch replaced, or should I do it now?
