Which type of S2000 driver are you?

In terms of S2ki members, you're leaving out dudes like me.

#6 THE POSERS. The non-S2000 owners. There are those who will own an S2000, but are too poor at the moment to afford one. However most will never actually own an S2000, some will buy other sports cars...most will 'grow up' and come to the conclusion that modifying cars/fun cars are dumb.
I guess I'm that.... Saving for one if that counts...
Except I want an s2000... Not any other car lol.

Definitely a purist here.

The only mods I have done are the gutted airbox mod and an auxiliary cable for the radio.

stig....I sold my 400+ hp civic because although hwy pulls and drag racing was fun, the excitement is that of a rollercoaster....the second you step off the ride its over. road racing puts me on days long high...so much more fun...

the civic just couldn't handle much more than 10 min and was playing a peddling game...the s2k I just burry the peddle and go....I did a 30 min session without so much as a hiccup.

im loving it.

I also thing we are all a little purist at heart. part of the reason the s2k is such a great car is its so damn good in stock form.

It seems most don't perfectly fit into one category, and instead are some combination of 2 or more.

Its almost like the categories are your horiscope. Some of it kinda sorta fits, enough to make it sound like its talking about you, but not enough to make you think 'thats me 100%!'

Im definitely a mix of "the stig" "the purist" and "the tuner"

Id definitely beat a person for touching my s2k. "hands off the sex2k punk"

Im a purist with body yet id install a nice lip kit, and i like the vented hoods other than that NO BODY KITS

I rather enjoy track racing over drag racing, at least at the track it shows more skills needed to drive versus slamming gears in a straight line, an any dummy with engine building experience can build an engine and push 15+ lbs of boost to get great times in a 1/4 mile, the real skills involve keeping power steering, carpets, a/c in a nutshell all the "amenities" and still getting fantastic track times, suspension mods / improvements, more horsepower to get through the straights.... DO I NEED TO KEEP GOING?

My ideal build is having more power cause i have the "tim the tool man" syndrome, and being able to drive from washington state to so-cal without skipping a beat.

Either way, I do enjoy reading about a good Drag build, seeing someone completely customize an import for such a task.
