well, with the increased pressure giving you oversteer what this will do is settle the tail down and give you less oversteer, It will also help you put the power down better. It does increase understeer but you say at the new pressures you have oversteer which this helps. I would also look into getting a UK spec alignment as they stabilize the car more... search uk spec alignment on the boards

The uneven camber in the rear isnt going to help anything, neither is the lack of toe in

hi all ... i dont know if you remember this topic (or if its of any interest)
but since I kerbed one of the volks two weeks ago I am using the original 16 inchers.

At first I started driving really slowly because I expected bad handling from them (the YOM of these tires is 2004, the 17" ones were 2006)
But after a while I started to experiment... and now after two weeks they have my full confidence.
Understeer has totally disappeared ... and the oversteer is still there ( ) when pushed. I REALLY like the way it handles with these rims/tires. I love driving it now, it just feels right. It only understeers a LITTTLE bit when pushed really hard, and you can hear the tires just trying to find some grip.

With the 17" it just understeered really easily without any noises from the tires or anything. I just Cannot understand it because these are newer tires and the front ones are exactly the same - toyo proxes t1r.
The rear tires on the 16" are toyo proxes RA-1. As you might know these are semi slick competition tires and are quite sticky. i love them! but i dont think these should affect understeer?

pls help! i want it to handle the same on the 17s !!! i just love those volks, but i dont want it handling like crap again...
