"The United S2000 MEET"
I've sent a e-mail to a place in Topeka Kansas called Heartland Park. They have a 2.1 mile road course as well as a 1/4 mile drag strip. I'm still awaiting a reply from them. My message to them was our groups intrest in their road corse for apox.2-3 days. This would allow time for qualification leading up to two final two-three hours races. One for stock config.the other for modified. If i don't get a response from them by tomorrow I will call them in person
If anyone knows of a race track/road corse in the central U.S.I would like to hear about it. Heartland Park my reject the idea. Back soon with more infor.
Lets remember,we are tring to get together a very large groupe of owners of Honda S2000's. Perhaps as many as ok lets say 5000. I can't think of anything that would attract more then a national meet in the central U.S.at a road course where just regular people can take their S2000's and race them against others to the limit of their ability
The cannon ball run concept is great so long as its ends at a road course where it really begins. If anyone can think of a better draw concept please post it
There has to be a main event after such a long drive. It has to have an appeal to all owners. What do Honda S2000's like more the a long drive in their cars then a competive race against others in their same class. As for a place to stay in the midwest I'm sure there are plenty. I myself would like to camp at the race track itself. Hasn't everyone been camping? Come on people lets start getting this meet together and started. I'm thinking about the thought of people talking about such an event as was woodstock. Even the younger crowd knows of that event
Don't you? I want this to be the biggest ever meeting of S2000's and there owners ever. So as it is not forgotten for at least a few generations
This is where I'm coming from! So start getting in contact with your club Moderators and convey your thoughts about such an event,ok.
