Hi,

the insurance company reported back, they declared it a total-loss. This means that the insurance company sold my car and reimburses me the total newvalue of the car. I immediately ordered a new one (again Silver/Red, but was tempted by yellow) yesterday. They expect to be able to deliver it by the end of the month.

Thanks again for the support.

Ah! Good job Ronald!!

Although I am sad by your loss, I am happy that it turned out like this!!

Best regards (from the Netherlands right now),

Congrats Ron. As for the Silver/Yellow decision it's a tough one. We had a get together today with 2 Silvers and 2 Yellows. I think we were all scratching our heads as to what looked best!

Ronald,

That's good news, now you are going to have the fun of break-in twice

Ronald,

Best of luck with the new one!

BTW, why is the waiting time so short if you've just stuffed one? It's several decades if you order your first one!

My one (hopefully) is ready for collection in Brussels on 27 April. So I'm a bit excited as well.

We're lucky down here. My first was delivered within 4 weeks (I ordered on december 23th and they delivered january 16). My new car comes from another dealer which just had received one as a stock car. My dealer had a silver/black on order, and now this one goes to the other dealer. Honda Netherlands (like many Dutch importers) mitigate this between their dealers. The S2000 is very rare down here, so the waiting period is not as bad. If I wanted the yellow, I had to wait till July.
And yes, it's a bit said I'll have to go through the break-in period again

Ronald,

If you want, we do the break-in together.
BTW was your H/T damaged?

Hi Bart,

luckily my hardtop wasn't installed. The crash wasn't that hard. I'll have to get some things out of the car this afternoon. I'll get some pictures to show.
