Also, BrandonB - if you want me to buy this, please don't say you are "looking for cheaper parts" in your other post, please use the term "more cost efficient," it makes me feel that the VAFC you received will be superior to the "crap" you will pawn onto us.

I'd like to see you dyno the car 2 months from now to compare results. Ultimate Lurker keeps speaking of the long term fuel trim in the ECU and how it tries to compensate for something like the VAFC. . . Perhaps he could comment here.

I nominate brandonb for the "Most Obessed New Member" award, which, if it existed, would have gone to me last year

If you drop VTEC engagement to 5600 it should smooth out the dip where VTEC engages. Just a thought.

What did you use for a bracket and where did you mount the VAFC? I'm seriously considering one (its seems the best bang for the buck short of an FI solution) and am thinking about mounting it on the front of the radio cover - somehow recessing it in there like Rick did with his gagues.

Have your tried that? It seems to me that going to more agressive lobes too early would cause a bigger dip.
Yep, it was that way on my car (prior to the turbo) and the two or three other NA S2000's that Speedcraft tuned. I believe Pepe found the same thing, he's actually the one that started me in that direction. For whatever reason, it just seems to work best (prior to FI anyway).

Here is a link to a dyno day that included some stock S2000's, a J's exhast S2000, an Amuse exhaust/RM intake S2000, a Mugen header/exhaust S2000...

Don't compare numbers from our dyno to anybody else's. Different conditions, different machine, different calibration, all make such comparisons meaningless. Comparing one car to another that was there can give you some information, however.
