I am new to this board and have minimal mechanical experience, I am just a driving nut. Where can I get one? Can anyone lead me in the right direction?

Uhm, that's hard to answer. There's no advantage to adding HP to your car when it's not WOT. With V-AFC you can set what WOT is, I have min set at 50%. So, if I'm less than 50% throttle, why would I want 5% more power? Also, V-AFC works during narrow throttle, the issue is that it appears as if the ECU is smart enough to readjust the air/fuel to get the best/safest running engine during non-WOT. The ECU is not programmed to adjust air/fuel during WOT. So, Yes, and No.

This has probably been answered before, but what is the price range of a mod like this? I know you still don't have exact figures, but how about telling me something like $200-$300. I'm new to this V-AFC thing and I'm wondering what price range a mod for it would even fall in.

Jaded,

Depending on where you buy (store, online, group buy, etc.), the controller can be had for around $300-$400. This doesn't include any wiring harnesses to keep the job ultra-clean, but people have been selling onesies and twosies they've made for $100-$200. Add in another $50-$100 for a few dyno runs, and that's the total cost.

Good info MacGyver. I realized Brandon didn't have an exact cost but I was wondering where about it would be priced.

Well, 30 runs and 3 hours later, my car is tuned with the VAFC. I will scan the dyno's very shortly so you can see the results for yourself. I still think there is maybe a little room for improvement but I was happy with my final settings, which are as follows:
LVT
1000 = 0
2000 = 0
3100 = -5
3600 = -4
4000 = -6
4500 = -10
5500 = -11
5900 = -11

HVT
5500 = -4
5900 = -4
6100 = 0
6500 = -4
7400 = -3
7800 = -5
8400 = -10
9000 = -9

Is this for Wide or for Narrow?
then the other one is all zero??
