Sorry if this a repost, but a search didn't provide anything useful.

I was wondering if anyone with a vented hood has had any problems with water getting into the engine bay or any other negative issues? Should I hold off on putting it on my car until the bulk of the rainy season is over? Thanks!

It's a carbon fiber Mugen replica ... I'll post up some pics once it's on my car.

 

Are you running an aftermarket intake of some sort? If so, be mindful of where any water could possibly fall onto the air filter...hydrolock will end your engine.

 

I do have a cold air intake but the filter is way in the front of the bumper ... I think there is just a good a chance of water getting in through the bottom as there is water coming through the hood and getting in it.
