I live in Superior. When you get your S2K running, lets get together sometime. I think there are going to be some S2K racing at Second Creek this Sunday. I may show up.

Also, if you don't mind (??), send me a PM with the machine shop that made that brace for you.

What is the Spoon brace made of?

The aluminum makes it light. I do believe that sheets of stock aluminum are expensive. I can't wait for the test results.

Tim
Spoon is made of steel tubes welded together then powdercoated. I believe that Mingsters is simmilar in construction.
Hope this helps

After you finish this one, you should look at other areas of the S2000 that could use strengthening.

For example, I have seen Altezza braces that strengthen the chassis all around the rear suspension.

See what you can come up with.

I will need to park my S2000 over a mirror just to admire the beauty of the brace.

wow, it sure looks cool. Isn't it a little expensive out of CNC machine? Most of the braces that I have seen are hallow bars. even my BMW x-brace (from LTW M3 and 3 series convert) are hallow bars. From Factory, it cost $89.

Anyway, can you feel a difference? also, did I say it look cool?
