You really need to e-mail us. At this point with a post on s2ki.com, we don't know who you are. So we can't do anything. When we screw up, and it happens we make it right as soon as we can. We even cover the return shipping too.

so send us an e-mail. Don't have a machine shop fit it, they will charge you. We will fit it for free. You just have to give us a chance to .
There you go

And another big from me to Ricks! Great business!

Ricks has great service. I'm sure they will ship a new one before even getting your old one back in the mail. Let them fix it.

I'm just confused how they even MAKE a voodoo knob that doesn't fit. It's not like the S2000 comes with different thread sizes.

"So some jerk off decides to steal my Momo shift knob after I had an insert made for it so it would thread onto my shift lever. After brief consideration I decide to take the plunge and order a VooDoo shift knob from Rick's and I finaly get it yesterday. I go to spin it on and what do you know????? The wrong friggin thread size! The threads on the knob are smaller than the shifter As always, this just seems to be my luck."

The thread size on the Voodoo knob is correct. It's your shifter that has the wrong thread size. JK

but honestly, it's more time this guy have to spend on getting another knob from ricks.

I think that's the gripe that this bloke has with ricks and his bad luck on purchasing other products.

I would say stop buying products all together.

I appreciate everyone sticking up for Rick's, They are great people and I will do more business with them in the future. Another thing I should clear up is that all the parts I was ranting about came from three different suppliers, If they were all from the same then I may have a different gripe.

And to those who are confused as to how you could get the wrong thread size, they make VooDoo knobs for a lot more then just S2000. In fact they have been popular with the Miata owners since like forever. I think my knob may have been for another car and was just packaged wrong by the manufacture. No big deal. Happens every once in a while.

Just talked to Rick via e-mail and he thinks that I may have gotten a Miata knob by mistake. It seems as though team VooDoo may have mixed a few in the last shipment by accident. But he is sending me a correct one on monday, so hopefully all goes well!

Well I received the correct knob today and just put it on. Wow, what a difference it makes in the throw! I am more than pleased and will be sending the old one back to Rick.

Thanks again Rick, and thanks to all of you who offered support on this thread!
