ah that explains it. when I got my knob for christmas I was thinking, "man this knob is pretty big, wonder if maybe my parents ordered the magnum by mistake?"

but I love it all the same, and wouldnt have any other knob (well except maybe a polished titanium one)
I had a polished Ti Voodoo and hated it... the finish that is. The heft of the Ti is very nice but that polished finish is the absolute pits IMO. First of all, it looks like a big ol' ball bearing and doesn't match anything else in the car. And it just feels like bare metal in the hand (which of course it is...). Since it's bare, it transmits all the cold in the winter and all the heat in the summer . But worst of all, it always looked all smudged up. The polished surface showed everything.

So I took it to a local powder coater and had them do it gloss black for $25 and now I love it completely. Black is what I wanted in the first place anyway. It looks extra sweet in the car and feels much better in the hand with the powder coating. It provides a bit of insulation to take the edge off the hot/cold, and in comparison the black does a great job of hiding all the smudges too.

Black powdercoat Ti Voodoo.... priceless . Highly recommended
