This is a cop-out. You are collecting "real" money.

I work hard for my money too... but I don't see where any major problem lies with them personally.
I don't see this as a personal problem at all. It's a complaint about how the business is being run. This particular business just happens to bear the name of its owner.

I have ordered many items from Rick's over the years, and will continue to do so. They have earned my everlasting respect and loyalty for coming up with innovative and unique products for the S2000 from Day 1. While my most recent Rick's order had a little problem, Jeff has agreed to help work through it to my satisfaction. That's all I ask for as a customer.

FWIW, I believe that as a vendor, it never hurts to be as conciliatory as possible. Newer members don't necessarily know the history behind Rick's, and may be dealing with them as customers for the first time. Could these recent complaints have been handled differently/better? Probably. But that's a business decision that Rick's chooses to make, and I imagine they're fully prepared to deal with the consequences.

I do agree that this thread is inappropriately titled and should be changed. Rick's may be many things...but "scammers" is not one of them.

Wow, another bash Rick's thread.
Anyways, from personal experience, they are TOP NOTCH in my book.
I have ordered from them several times, and have not had one bad experience.

That's because when I bought my S2000 stickers from him before, I could not get a call back or an email returned. I asked him for a tracking number but with no avail.

I for one work hard for my money and being treated like that for any reason is not acceptable to me. If you are fine with that than I guess that's ok with you.

Also, if you look at the responses do you see any apology in there? Or any comment about how they are trying to fix the situation?

Didn't think so.
You must have missed my replies.

1. I personally called him and left him a voice mail.
2. I had e-mailed him several times with the status of his order as supplied by the vendor.
3. I had supplied an apology in each e-mail.
4. I had actually sent him several e-mails just before he posted this.

So if an public apology needed, then we are sorry. But this is not a public problem.

And for comments how to fix the problem.

We have done the following. (note this was also posted). All ZTech customers have been sent an e-mail with the order status. This was done before this thread was ever posted. I personally wrote them and sent them. We have also pulled all ZTech product from our web site.

If you're not happy with the service, then don't order from them anymore. Cancel your order with Rick's and move on.
