I wave to every S2 I see... But I find that mostly old people don't even notice my car! Oblivious to the rest of the road... They wouldn't know another S2000 if it hit them in the face. Oh well, though. I love waving to other owners and getting it back!

Yeah those AP2 drivers are all assholes!

I get waves back from all different S2000s and people, AP1s, AP2s ... young/old/corporate ... sometimes I don't get waves back though. Not a big deal ... Generally I get more waves back then not.

I pretty much always wave though, unless the car is too far away for them to see me.

My friend thought it was really funny though that I was driving around his neighborhood (in Maryland, I'm from VA) and I waved to an S2000 that caught up with me at a light and then said "Hey, you're liquid ice right?!?!" (liqice = my idea of short for liquid ice). He thought it was funny that he's never met another RSX owner in his area with him driving around all the time, and with me driving around for 5 minutes I got recognized

i usually give a head nod ,peace sign, or
but sometimes young and old start hating on me for driving an AP2 cause they think im some young spoiled punk who got the car from mom or dad, not knowing im like in my 30's, have a career, a wife, and a house to take care of. i guess being a tall skinny asian has a benefit

It seems like all the AP1s I run into try really hard to get away from me.

S2K stereotyping?

Over 40
Corporate type (Finance manager)
business oriented woman
Wearing street clothes

Will wave/hunk/ a flash to all I see driving a S2K, if I get a chance. If I get a wave /hunk/ a flash, I will wave/ hunk/ a flash back. Try me .
Bought my S2K last week; saw three S2Ks... none waved , hunk or flashed... Fine! Live goes on, keep on cruisin'!

i live in socal and today i was driving home and i saw this older couple (probably late 30s early 40s) in an AP1 (same exact as me), and i was in the fast lane and they were coming up pretty fast in the carpool. i looked over to give a wave and smile and the SOB just cuts me off and speeds up like nothing happend. what a F#cking A$$hole i thought to myself.

the dude's license plate started with a 4SOG0???? so if you are on this surfing this board, go fvck yourself!

im a bit dissapointed too, i find that very few people wave back.

Generally I see i much older white guys driving ap2's and they certainly dont wave back. The only people who wave at me are younger guys and girls who are probably <30 yrs old.

Once i even parked next to another silverstone S at the grocery store and we both came to our cars at the same time, I was ready to start a conversation with the guy, but he made it very clear he didnt want to have anything to do with me. Again this was an older white gentleman.

Maybe its because im young (22), maybe its because im Indian (brown) , or maybe its because ive got the oem lip and side strakes and compared to the older fellows I make driving this car look good, with my sexy self ;-)
