okay...imagine your talking to a total moron for a second here...
Im concerned my "spacers" are still in, as my dealer seemed to know nothing about S2000s. I read the "taking delivery" guide, and noticed the picture of the spacers. I see they are about 7inches long..the problem is, i have no idea where to look for them, as i have no idea what a space or a coilover is!
anyone able to enlighted me? (please use monosyllabic idiot-proof words please!)

Hey Paris...hows Paris?
The spring spacers are used so the cars don't "bounce around too much during transport. The picture posted above with the ruler is the best I've seen of them. There are several (4 I believe) on each spring. If you look at that picture imagine a spring coil through each hole and the square area holding up each coil.
Hope this helps.

Okay Utah, thanks, i think i can imagine where i would find them now! Ill take a look next time I use my car.
Do I need a special tool to take them off, or do they just kinda pop off?
By the way, Paris is great, but very wet at the moment...but hey, from the cockpit of the S2000 with my hardtop to keep things cosy, who cares about the odd flood or 2!

Welcome to the club Whoop-Jack. I was driving a '96 GT convertible when I purchased the S2000. What a difference! The Honda will continue to impress - enjoy it.

Definitely 2 different breeds. I only miss the off the line growl and push back into my seat, but I'd still take the stook over it any day
Yeah, I felt the same way about the handling, and still miss the rumble of the V8. Once you realize how well planted the car is, you'll be amazed at the handling capabilities of the Honda. You can still hang the tail out with throttle ... at a much higher limit. But beware, the back end isn't as easy to catch as the Mustang. Once she's broken in treat yourself to some track time or try out the local autocross scene. That's where the S2000 shines. And you'll spank the stock and mildly prepped Mustangs without any trouble .
