Went from AP1 to AP2v2, some thoughts
You're so cool Lazyrider, like soo cool. You know so much about cars, it's incredible! You opinions are like the truest facts ever. You're never wrong, like ever. We're you always that awesome or did it happen after you bought that super fast spinning engine? All those RPMs, from one engine! Dang!! 9k, I can only imagine how badass that is. You're living the life most of us can only dream of.
I only have one of those AP2s, the watered down version of the S2000. Pretty much garbage. Thinking I need to sell it now because I need to have an engine that spins super fast like yours so I can remind everyone about it ALL THE TIME!
Edit: Holy shit!! And you know Latin! I clearly did not recognize the genius that is amongst us.

If Honda had given the original s2000 the F22c engine and didn't hit the mark of most HP per liter and first 9K rpms road car, THEN THE S2000 wouldn't have been such a big deal.
Whether you want to admit this or not, stuff like this matters

Fait accompli

Nah... stating an opinion backed with facts supported by sources in automotive literature. Ap2 is of course a great car but it is an evolution of what is commonly regarded as a legendary one in the Ap1. Respect your elders...
9000k was considered mindboggling...... To build a car from ground up and not on an existing platform like they did with NSX was a remarkable feat. Add in lower price point and ability to compete with BMW and Porsche made the Germans up their game in their roadster division.
As I said.. Respect your elders.

I feel the nicer S2000's are being owned, longer term now...
The ones you see on the market are less desirable and priced accordingly...
