"AP2v2 wheels look very classy to my eye- they make the AP2v3 wheels look comically cheap."

Whoa fella, them there's fighting words ! ....... But I will admit that when I first saw them I didn't like them either. Gradually, however I warmed to them and eventually bought an '08.

My '06 S2000 came (used) with horrible black aftermarket wheels and I really liked the AP2V3 wheels but put proper V2 wheels on the car to preserve originality. Now I can't think of any nicer wheels than the V2's.

"blue explosion" LOL!! I test drove an '05 suzuka and it looked like a smurf blew up inside the damn thing. Finally found an '06 owned by a 70 year old retired man. It's one of the best color combos in my opinion.

Congrats on the find!!

Another '06 Suzuka owner. Wouldn't have it any other way!

AP2V1 > AP2V3 > AP2V2 in my opinion. I've had all 3 at different times. The V3s are the easiest to clean though and the gunmetal V3 CR rims look and hide dirt the best.

Congrats on the 06 Suzuka from a fellow member of the club. Not even many S2K owners know these have a blue & black combo interior. Only about 500-ish of them came to the US.

Thanks for sharing, OP. I'm contemplating upgrading to an AP2V2 myself as well. But they're just harder to find in the rare colors!

The AP2v3's cannot be dirty. They can only be Base Model or Club Racer

AP2v2 wheels are ugly. They have never looked good to me. CR wheels look the nicest.
