Ok BASS, what do you have to say now??? As you can see I picked up great gains with my vafc... This was before my exhaust also...

Read that charts, see the gains....

NOW THIS IS IMPORTANT... I know the horsepower number's arnt that high. Thats not why we went to this dyno, this was for tuning only. On this same same dyno stock ap2's were putting down no more than 193 rwhp. So on a normal mustang/ dyno jet dyno I was told I should be in the at least 220 range. Just wanted to say that.

Look at the power after 8,300 rpm and how it doesnt drop! I want to go back for more dyno's and tuning after my exhaust

then after tuning... look how much better the air to fuel is

This is an interesting topic (and it has provided much entertainment thusfar ). I can see where both sides are coming from. Not to choose sides or anything, Bass, you seem to have a few holes in your arguments. For instance, there are plenty of members who have gained more than 10hp from bolt-ons. A T1r 70r alone will add roughly 15hp (according to the manufacturer and numerous board members). I agree that our cars do not respond well to most simple mods, but certain well-developed products have been shown to add modest amounts of power.

But like I said, it has been interesting and informative to hear both sides of this argument.

kayvan, you said earlier that you can just take out the fuse for your ecu to fix it from reseting itself. I'm confused on how this works. You don;t need an ecu? Doesn't it need to know the difference in temps. and humidity and all that crap? I dont know much about the subject
