The most common problem with the S2000 is dumba$$ who can't drive it.

People who think of it as just a regular car.
Top tear
OEM Clutch wear
If the car is lowered, scraping sides in the wheel well.

rear end can wiggle when shifting hard on turns and loud wind noise when going fast with top up.

My AP1 has been 100% worry free. And probably best car I owned so far.

Like any automobile: low mileage, garge kept, non ****ed with, with all maintenence done on time examples are the way to go.

on mine i had to replace the top (i cracked the window and the whole top had to be replaced)
change spark plugs, and just take it to the dealer to do the recalls. other then that it was good.
