Thanks for the kind words guys. Regarding the tape, I personally like the way it looks with it. I may take it off later down the road, but who knows

I read that the tape can be a real pain to take off, and some people say that there could be some paint imperfections hiding underneath the tape. If I do take the time to do it, is it fairly easy to buy more and put it on?

lol sorry, never saw your post. 6 month reply incoming. Here's a temporary picture before I mounted it properly and lined it up right.




I still plan on trimming that dynamat to fit the same shape, but it's a nice improvement over the whole trunk being dynamatted. The bare dynamat look pretty ugly even though it's super functional.

brake fluid flush. touch up paint. clean rear wheel wells of road grime and undercoat touch up.

Very early this morning, fumbled around in the engine bay to disconnect the battery. It ran low and set off the car alarm. Couldn't find my socket set or the right size spanner in the messy garage so it was going for about 10 minutes, waking the neighbourhood.

Fortunately, I pulled a near-new battery out of my old car (1996 Holden Commodore) before sending it to be crushed a couple of months ago, and it appears to be the correct spec to swap straight in.
