All of those ferrari were running decent time for their era and their car class - nobody is going to compare a 308 to an f40 because each ferrari is designated for different classes of racing or driving.
Does anybody understand what the point of cars like the 355 f1 challenge is?
Or am I talking to a bunch of 2fast 2furious people who care only about living their Toretto live style 10 seconds at a time.

Purpose of the 355 is to make ferrari money
It takes me 10 seconds to back out of my driveway. But for those 10 seconds.....

Yep, 20 years of progress changes the level of the performance bar.
I agree. Advances in tire technology have been one of the major drivers of change. Back in 1986 (22 years ago) a car that could corner at 0.86 G's was impressive. Today, it's not at all impressive. If the older cars had modern tires, they'd all turn quicker quarter mile times.

i've ran a 13.4 completely stock. i guess the conditions were perfect that day.
! Theres no way in hell you could have ran a 13.4, i saw a S/C s2000 run a 13.3, and a "stock" s2000 would not even be close to running that! Try again..

This is more beliveable but still pretty hard to belive! How did you launch the car, Rpm's, did you pop the clutch etc...?

I launched the car from 6-6500 and i didnt break traction cuz the track was soo sticky. It was a really good launch even though it was all clutch spinning after i dumped it. RPMs never fell so that helped my 60'. Im def gona put my timeslip up. I tried to do it and the stupid network scanner at my work says it scans it but i cant find it ever on the network drive

I don't. 13.3 is a pretty sad pull for a SC s2000. Will get into the 12's with the proper run. I know a strong N/A 230whp car with the (right) gearing can run that time of 13.3 or better is possible. The car will do it, but it requires allot more from the driver. You have to be really fameiler with how to drive the S and luanch it right and make all your shifts perfect.
