What does your s2k run in the quarter

I just sold my civic 10.28@144mph. It's still a civic. While i loved that car it will never be an S2K. S2000 is not fast but it's a great all around car
i ran a 13.6@115 at englishtown with no launch. At thompson, ohio, with a launch, and leaking exhaust, i got a 12.1@112. The power i am making, i should be getting higher numbers, but im happy with my trap speeds. This was with my old setup with a stock exhaust, now i have a bit more power with my exhaust and retune. I have launched my car probably 2 or 3 times, and don't plan on doing it soon, unless i get an upgraded rear end etc... If you want to launch your car on a surface with higher than street levels of traction, get ready to start changing out rear ends and axles...

On another note.... I'm blown away by some of the immaturity in this thread.

regarding the BSP prepped s2k, jason tipple did it a few years ago, and was sorely outclassed. he is the only one i know of so far that has really put any sort of prep into one.

lol, nice checking up ya did there....
I know it rained on Tuesday morning...but by the afternoon I thought things had dried up. And SM ran in the 4th heat...seems your last run of the day should have had a dry line.
But just considering the West course, you ran a 46.594...Wednesday was dry on the West course, correct? Then on Thursday Jason ran a 46.538 on the West course in his AS s2k...I believe also dry, correct?
But neither your times nor Jason's were anywhere close to Daddio's.
And all deference to Slinkard, Tipple and Uyeda...each have fielded a BSP S2k...none are in the same league as Collett, Saini, Lamont, Wynveen, or Ian Stewart. None of the BSP s2ks even matched the times of the best AS s2ks.
Unfortunately, we will probably never see a top Nats level driver field an s2k in anything other than Stock, because it cannot compete against other cars in BSP or SM2. But if a Stock s2k can come as close as they do to your SM car...it seems pretty reasonable to figure given equal drivers that a BSP or SM2 prepared s2k will be quicker than the Civic you've previously been running.
