probably like 15 seconds, but if it's after I drop a load then maybe I can touch 12's.

Great time Levi, was your son driving or you? I know he gave me some launching tips.
Aric was the driver on that run. Mike send me your E-mail addy and I'll send you the video of the run.

Where in upstate NY? That's a pretty big claim that you've never seen an S2 as prepped or as fast at the track . . . a lot of guys here have dropped some big $$.

ahhh...but someone touched on the key to this debate (civic vss2k for autox). What class was the car prepared for?

Nice coneburner, Rodney. But really, would you take a hot date cruising on the beach in it on Saturday night?

Hahaha, I would certainly take a hot date out in the car, but we wouldn't go druising on the beach. The type of girls I always dated would have loved the car and enjoyed going for a fast canyon drive; Great warmup for some serious extracurricular activities.

I'm not much of a drag racer, and even less prone to boasting, so before I went FI, I just told people my car ran mid-14's. It's more fun to be conservative about such things.

One of the odd things about CCR is that the company is so well known locally that people won't believe me when I tell them what my car does in the quarter or how much power I'm making. Most people seem to want to believe that my car is much faster and quicker than it actually is, and simply won't believe me when I tell them otherwise. I had one guy tell me that he knew for a fact () that my car would reach 100 MPH in 1000 feet from a standing start, and he seemed to expect his claim to produce some kind of confession on my part. I try to explain that I pick races that give me the edge, and that I beat much faster cars at autocrosses because the level of competition is low, but most people around here really want to believe that "Draco" can leap tall buildings in a single bound.

Thank goodness we have more reasonable people here on S2kI.
