What happens when an S2000 flips?
When i was 16, I built up a Triumph TR-3 (not a 3a) with a big bore kit and terrorized the great back roads in Fairfield County, Connecticut. I already was taking race classes for SCCA. My buddy kept bugging me to drive, and finally, being 16 and with no sense, I let him. He screwed up on a corner, entered way too fast, and threw the car into a huge understeer slide, and we started down a grass embankment towards a classic New England sight - a stone wall in a field, left over from a farmer's toil many years earlier. My friend screams "whatz gonna Happen"? and I, being quick-witted and a bit sardonic even then scream back "I don't know, but I doubt we will like it!". Boom! Smash! Klink!
Both thrown out of the car, missed having our innards ripped open by the window pillar, seat belts? (sure.....), and we walked away with cuts and bruises. My friend was still laughing at my comment when the tow truck and the police arrived. (If I had 9 lives, I used 8 of them up that afternoon. It was my first and only major crash.)
I was not, as my car was of course, history.
So my answer to this thread's question is:
"I don't know, but I doubt you will like it".

Too funny, RR.
My step-father had a TR3 as well. I always had to adjust the side view mirrors before we got underway. (for those that don't know, the mirrors are on the front corners of the fenders, not at all adjustable while driving). The little cubby-hole behind the seats was just the right size for me.
Loved that old car.

I was unconcious when the emergency folks came to extract me from the car. I don't remember any part of the accident so when I saw the car for the first time I couldn't believe it either. I am still amazed at how well the cabin held up compared to the rest to the car. I don't know how fast I was going but the cop said at least 70mph. The sad part about this is that I had the car for less than one month (used) and had not made the first payment on it yet. I wasn't aware of s2ki.com or the severe danger of lift throttle oversteer (which I think is what started the spin). But I drive that road everyday and the skid marks still look as freash as ever, a very powerfull reminder not to drive like an idiot.
