Drove a co-worker's in 2000 and fell in love immediately...5 years and 2 S2k's later

 

1. I love the styling.
2. 9000 revs sounded great.
3. Test drove the car when friend went to buy one.
4. Turn my 2001 C5 Corvette in and got S 2000 soon after

Love the feel and ride and performance better than Vette w/ Z51 package...Plus the S doesn't see the repair shop like the Vette.

 

 

Wow.. you went from a C5 to a S.. now thats sumpthin.. I test drove a modified C5 and loved the power.. hehe.. didnt like the interior tho.. hehe.. C6's are nice..

However your #1 is key for me too... the styling and lines of the car are so damn hot.. which is why they really didnt need to change much on the outside for 04+... the only other car i can think of that has such perfect lines would be the G35..

 

The S 2000 IS a CLASSIC! It is that type of car 20 years from now that will make you smile and say "I remember when those cars came out and they STILL look GOOD". Classics...

Some people around here DON'T know what the car is...It does get some looks and inquires at the gas station (that's one of the times when I'm around for people to ask about the car).

 

When I first got the S, just about everyone either made a Tran comment or asked if I was him.

My favorite was when a hot black girl came up to me and leaned over my door and asked if I was a movie star. Should've just played along...


I got it because of the looks, performance, looks, handling, looks, and the fact that I could finally afford one. If it wasn't a convertible, I wouldn't have bought it.
