lol, that 6k rpm mark really does set off fireworks doesnt it? VTECS one of the main reasons i even ended up with the s2k =D
haha. I wasnt used to the Vtec. i was racing it up 1-2-3, and from 1-2, I forgot to shift because the rev up was so slow before 6K (when I was watching tach) and from 6-9, it was like

bounced off the limiter twice but its all good

Evolution schools are under two hundred bucks, and many SCCA regions sponsor autocross schools that cost well under a hundred. Regional schools vary widely, but the Evo schools are always first rate.

IOW, it doesn't have to be horribly expensive.

http://www.evoschool.com/

Each SCCA Region sets their own prices, but it's the one of the best bangs for the buck you'll find anywhere.

I loved the S2000 long before I had a chance to drive one. I've been a Honda fan ever since my first car, an 88 Accord.

I started getting into cars a lot more when I started watching Best Motoring, Top Gear and Initial D and in all those shows, the S2000 was highly regarded for not just being a fast car, but one that was well balanced and a blast to drive.

A few years later, I finally got to drive friend's S2000 and I knew I had to own one. I got my chance when the Army offered a fat re-enlistment bonus for officers and I told my wife beforehand that I would buy one if and when we got the money. I bought my S2000 in cash from Amer, an S2Ki member in May and I'm still in love with it. Thanks to all you taxpayers for making my dream come true!

I had a 1989 240sx as my first car and loved RWD. Then bought a 1999 Honda civic and missed the RWD but loved honda. I love the fact that the s2000 is one of the nicest looking convertibles around and is a RWD honda.

[QUOTE=kertong,Dec 1 2008, 10:44 PM].....I'm curious - if the s2000 wasn't your first car, what car did you own previously?
