What made you switch to an s2000?
i wanted a sports car that i could build to touge. my two dream cars are the s2000 and evo but im too young for a four door. i wanted something cocky and this gets the looks at a red light. especially when i have my n on, i just dont like how people assume my parents bought it for me but no biggie cause it will still smoke their car. its been a week and as a daily driver im enjoying it. especially after coming from a 2001 nissan sentra.
been eye-ing one in the car mags after reading numerous reviews of how great the s2000 is. then finally the opportunity came so that i could trade in my mx5 for an s2000 and it happened.
Had a 2000 Civic Si ( my dream car when i was in high school) fixed it up and after 4 monthes it got stolen and stripped. After that bought the s2k cuz i wanted something alittle more grown up then a civic and something that couldnt be stolen as easy.
first car was a 2000 mustang v6, had it from 2003 to 2008
then got a 2003 gt, spend like 6k on it, sold it a month ago for 15k, got an 05 s2000 and a week later some idiot broke into it and took a few things from it, now im fixing it up to see if I can finally enjoy the new car, right now I love it...

I had a 1997 Eclipse RS with 170K miles.... it still kicked ass! I bought it for $3500 with 163K and put an apexi N1 exhaust and AEM short ram CAI. Then went interior with alpine deck to kicker amp to bazooka sub. Put 2001 eclipse rims on it. It was backed into it the same week I found a rotted cross over brace above the leaky gas tank. Too much crap was going wrong so I sold for $1600
(I know, big loss!) I only owned the car for a year! Thats 7000 miles in one year for that car. Ive owned my s2k for 3 months now and have put about 5000 miles on it already!
Started looking and researched s2000s. I didnt want a corvette or mustang because EVERYONE and their brother owns one! There was only 1 s2k in my area so it was a prime choice. I get compliments everyday!!!
Heres something that also steered me away from the mustangs.... A guy went out and bought a beautiful shelby mustang and spent big bucks for it brand new. Another guy having his mid life crisis pulls right besides him with the same generation mustang but his is automatic and 6 cylinder. They looked ver close except the mid life crises guy only paid $18k for his as the the shelby guy that spent over twice that. Only people that know cars will beable to appreciate the shelby more. thats just my opinion though.

I worked my way up the Honda food chain. First car was an '83 Civic 1300 that got 40mpg til the day I sold it in '96. Next was a '96 Civic EX-I moved to Key West from L.A. and left it with my parents as I rode a bicycle for transportation in Key West. Wanted a new car so I bought an '04 Accord EX and, one day, about 15 months later, while getting it washed at the car wash, walked across the street and test drove the S2000-two hours later, I left a really clean Accord at the dealership that had 25K miles on it and left with a 2001 S2000 with 20K miles. Gotta love Honda!!

I was wondering where KSA was
