What should I do first after the break-in period ;-)
I've almost crossed the 600 mile break-in period... and am looking for advice on how to properly exploit my blue 2002. Some data points:
- this is the first "real" car I've owned (previous - tercel, del sol, saturn (mistake), civic)
- all activities suggested should be fun, will likely exceed posted speed limits, but will not put bystanders in any danger
- are suitable for audio enhancement via Fatboy Slim and/or Chemical Brothers and/or Orbital
I would first suggest that you be a little more conservative and stretch your "break in" period to 1,000 miles. I did this with my 2nd S, and I swear my new engine is stronger than my old one.
My other suggestion would be that you do a driver's training course.

This is interesting, I've read so many posts about people's cars burning oil. Ours doesn't seem to burn any. Even after a full track day, it's not low at all and the oil is really clean. I wonder why, just luck or was it really good break in?

Mine burned oil up to about 6500 miles, now I hardly even notice a drop on the dipstick even though I still check every time I fill up my gas tank.
