What would you buy to replace your S?
Boxster Spyder or Scion FRS.
The Boxster Spyder is basically a Boxster with the RS treatment, probably the closest thing to our S2K at a reasonable price.
The Scion FRS is the most exciting and resonably priced car to come out of the Honda/Toyota with almost guaranteed reliability and easy maintenance.
One thing I missed about driving a non-sports car is that you can actually lean the seat back for a quick nap to recharge the batteries. With my S2K, I just drive faster to get more adrenaline pumping.

A coffin?
I don't intend to "replace" the S or my CRX. However, I would compliment it with a SC Acura TL (previous gen) if I wanted a reasonable family car, or a Evo X if I wanted an unreasonable one, or a TT C6 Z06 for drag purposes.
