You can get a lot of money if you hire a sleazy lawyer. $50-$100K before fees. Of course if you do you are a lower form of life.

When I was in middle school, I was in a vehicle that was rear ended. With the help of an attorney, I was able to get my medical payments paid for. More than 12 years later I still get severe pain in my neck and back.

Good luck.

I got rear ended in July in my S2000, and there's no way $200.00 will cover it. My nech didn't hurt much two weeks after the crash, and 3 months later I had to have an MRI and million other things. My neck has bulging disks, and between insurance and all has cost thousands of dollars.

Get an attorney and DO NOT DEAL DIRECTLY WITH INSURANCE COMPANIES AND DON'T WAIVE YOUR RIGHTS!!!!

I hate lawyer. Never hire one unless you absolutely have to. Evn then don't trust them. Keep an eye on your one lawyer.

Thanks for the info guys.

What do i do if i cant afford an attorney?

She is taking all the pills now and is in serious pain!
A lawyer won't cost you anything, they take their cut from the settlement, and once you have the lawyer, you won't have to pay the deductible for the medical services you get.

And folks remember to always adjust the headrest in your car so that in a crash your head hits it and doesn't fold OVER it.

Some cars are better than others for this.

What? If the other guys insurance is paying for it there should be no deductible. If your insurance is paying for it you still have to pay your deductible if you have not yet met it.

Additionally when you settle the insurance company can come back and ask you for payment for all of the medical expenses you inccured as a result of your injury. It's pure BS but it's their right and they will do it.
