Thumbs up Who has the De Lan hitch?

if you are happy with it?

I want a hitch for a bike rack to hold 2 light mtn bikes
never a trailer... well prob not... never say never

I'm wondering if it ... or many crack through the floor pan

A couple months ago I searched and read ALL the post about hitches
and a couple said it was cracking... but they seemed to be hauling
small trailer with tires and a coulpe LBS of track junk

S2000's must have their ways to haul a bike around.. DeLan seems to come up
quite often

HELP... thnaks

I looked into another for $500 Race Co in washington?... LOOKS great...sorry to much $$$ for me
for $60 in metal... I I still have to spend the day on removing the rear of the car

Ask the folks over in the Racing and Competition forums. They seem to have the most experience with the various hitches.

I've used that hitch for about a year and a half with no problems. I've only used it to tow a trailer with 4-8 wheels and a tool box. So far so good. Good luck.

I use it for a bike rack and track trailer. Ive logged about 400 miles with the trailer and about 500 with the bike rack (with 1 or 2 30lb all mountain bikes on it) and I have yet to experience any problems. I bought it because I thought the solid mounting attachments would be more durable than the pin and clevis attachments of the removeable hitches.

It seems to be a pretty solid hitch so far.
