Who's using Mobil One on their S2000?
I've been using Mobil 1 since the late 1970s. I'll continue to use it without hesitation. Works fine in my '01 S2K with ~13k miles on it. Oil consumption is low but that seems to be a fluke of chance since many others note significant useage. I use VTEC regularly and autocross quite successfully (frequently in the top stock runners both in raw time as well as indexed). The engine isn't babied and the oil keeps it running like a top.
I can't say that I noticed any difference in performance, noise, "liveliness", etc.

Costa Mesa Honda is probably the worst place to buy your car but it was an impulse buy for me; I did not want to shop. However, I have a bunch of free oil change coupons from the salesman who no longer works there so I go there to use the coupons.

What do $135,000 dollar cars with Mobil One have anything to do with the S2000? Do they share the same engine? Does it redline at 8,900? Is it built by Honda?
Is there an advantage going with Mobil One over conventional oil? That is the question. I don't care if you've used this thing for your lawn mower, your beard trimmer, since you were five-years-old, et cetera. I care about how it applies to our cars: the S2K.
Got my oil changed today. Mobil One is in. First impressions tell me it feels the same, except VTEC is a little less pronounced.

I'm using Mobil 1 in my s2000, and it is a little smoother than normal. The vtec switchover point doesn't feel as instant though, but I think it's the protection in a high revving motor that I rather have. besides, it's not like the s2000 becomes a lot slower, it's still has that amazing push @ 6000rpms that everyone here loves including myself. Gosh, I Love this car.
