I like my S as much as the next guy. But I will never understand the justification behind FI. The cost/benefit equation just does not make sense; the S is $32K or so new, the Vette is about $45K. What is the point of making the S fast, when you can just BUY a faster car to begin with? I understand that the S offers a unique driving experience (so does the Vette, BTW), but still... I would pick the Vette if I wanted "FI power": it offers better and easier resale than a FI S, and the maintenance of a NA Vette is easier than of a FI S. Any thoughts on this?
You can't get a Vette convertible for $45k. I owned a C5 and much prefer the S. Also, there are no roll bars available for the Vette convertible and the way I drive that is unacceptable.

Now, why would I know you had a Viper? I think of vipers as snakes, not the car.

The latest Car & Driver deemed the new Viper SRT-10 coupe a better track car than the new C6 Z06. Was quite a bit faster....

BUT, for daily driving the Z06 won hands down. Viper still handles better though...
