I'm surprised by the level of ignorance people have in here for the RX8. Having owned one, it comes close to the S2k in terms of the high revving engine and handling aspect. IMO its a 4 door S2k. The interior styling is better than the S.

SakiGT, thanks for your educated inputs on the Rx8. I would own one again.

RX-8 is a mazda and they are sluggish. That is why they are cheaper.

And the irony is even richer when that idiot, on a Honda forum, claims that "Mazdas are sluggish." Can it get any stupider?

I have to give serious advantage to Mazda for their competition program.

I personally think that the 8 is ugly and underpowered and the rear seat is suitable only for elves.

But the comp program kicks our behind all day long. I had a 323 gtx on that program and they give me a fiche, a manual, wholesale costs, and PERSONAL care by an expert. No contest. I'm lucky to find anyone at Honda USA who has any idea about anything, let alone competition.

i drove one at a mazda speed event and i got to say, what a piece!
the mazdaspeed 6 was a better drive and that wasnt that great.

rx8 = less than trash

drama. for s2k. rx8 needs a turbo then it would be sweet.. rx7's are a historic for me.. I'd love to drive a last gen. They are beautiful.
