Why is the Rx8 so much cheaper than S2k?

The RX-8 is considerably easier to drive fast at the limit than an S2000, and not a whole lot slower. Throw a set of Koni Yellows on it, and it's a joy to drive very hard--the back end actually doesn't want to lead the parade in harsh transitions!

Here in Seattle, it rains all winter long, and the RX-8 is far more comfortable for me in that weather. I drive the our RX-8 much more during the winter than our S2000.

"Girl car," and its variants, is one of the stupider comments idiots can make about performance cars. It's too bad those people are so insecure about their manhood that they can't appreciate such fun cars as the Miata or the RX-8.

I can't believe some of the comments you guys made.

first off, the car is not bad at all. it's very forgiving and easy to drive on the track, yes, it lacked the power but it's not that slow at all. sure, it doesn't rotate as good as s2k or miata but the suspension are set up for track in mind. it only takes one drive on a the 10/10 to know the hw mazda did.

and for the people saying it's a ford: you need to do more research

mazda build some of the best affordable sport/sporty car, yes rotary sucks on gas mileage and emission but who really give a burning fwak when you are in the market for sporty car?
