I remember seeing a post here a while ago about how to reset the window mechanism on the driver's side. I did what it said and my problem was resolved. Well it has returned and I can't find the previous post. Does anyone have the instructions on how to do this?

Thanks,

There was a post about 6 months ago that had a fix from an Acura dealer. Had to do with resetting the window system somehow. I just looked at the FAQs referenced in this forum and don't see it listed. It had been a note at the top of the forum but it's been gone for a long time. Try a search on something like "potential fix"...

The fix doesn't work permanently...trust me, I've tried it multiple times and the window still randomly fails to roll down.

I tried it too, and it didn't work. I'm planning to bring mine to the dealer for the TSB.

Had my windows regulator fixed a while back from the same problem. It came back after a couple months. I tried the reset fix someone posted a few months back, that has seemed to fix the problem. I haven't had the auto down problem since then. I can't recall the procedure to reset the window thou.
