windshield wiper replacement options?
We have those as well as the complete setup with the arms.
Anyone with an iota of mechanical skill can replace the inserts. No need to buy the arms too unless yours are mangled for some reason.

I bought the RAIN-X inserts. They swipe it clean as it will ever get. They are also high dollar but keep the winshield spotless. It takes them a few uses to break in... THEY will at first, kinda jump along as wiping because they contact the winshield so firmly.. but they break in pretty quickley. I, at first, was worried about my wiper motor and almost took them back but they are fine after a few uses...The first couple times I had to use them it was a VERY light rain and therefore not much lubrication...
Here in Austin, it rains so rarely that the blades usually dry out before you need them again. It will then rain for a few days, after which you'll replace them. Of course, it won't rain again for six months and they'll have dried out. Repeat as desired.
For me, I just bought the cheapest arms I could find-- ~ $6/side at Sears. I end up replacing them too often and not using them enough to spend any more than that. Also, Walmart carries the rubber inserts for ~$3/side.
Cheers
