hi, I am a new MT driver and I am getting pretty good at driving with the S. My problem is that sometimes I am not getting it fully into 2nd and when I realize this, I try to put it in and grind.. I did it twice today, light grind since the revs aren't high but sounds bad none the less. Is this really bad for the tranny? I think I will have to make sure it is in 2nd fully. Has this happen to anyone? I am not talking about high revs and having the 2nd grind. This grind is a result of it not being fully in 2nd. Thanks

 

it'll happen to everyone regardless of driving skill level. This will be bad for the tranny, if it is a common occurence! But you should have warranty!
