I've said it before and I'll say it again:

What's a Boxster?

It's that funny looking car that has two front ends? Or is that two rear ends? Anyways....just so everybody can tell the front from the back, it has an A**Hole for a tailpipe directly in the center rear... No Trade.... S2000's are much better cars, IMO.

DarioManfretti,

Thats not an exageration have you seen the diagrams? The engine sits under the stowed soft top!

I had a friend with a 911 who used to spend $4500 a year on maintenance and tires.

I'm not poor but I'm not Porsche rich!

Hell NO!!! No, No, No
And forget hypothetically, I have this situation right in my garage right now!!! I can't stand my 996, let alone a plain old Boxster. No way!!! uh uh!! Nope, Not a chance No way!!!

Like I said, my position on this in not hypothetical. Here's the proof:

My S2K does NOT like its garage-mate. What should I get???

Price not being important yes in a hearbeat but only for a S. Take one to the track and you will understand, They are just so balanced, really the only thing that I would even consider if I ever sold my other Porsche a 914.

The problem is that they are everywhere and I mean everywhere in San Diego, just everywhere. Personally I would get the 996 targa as my next car but with the current waiting list and the price I will wait a few years.

Just sold Boxster S. Awesome car! but I got sick to my stomach every time I parked it. Also MODS are few and pricey. I can sleep alot better owning a 30 thousand dollar car over one thats 60 grand

I JUST READ YOUR POST AND FOUND IT THOROUGHLY DISGUSTING AND DISTASTEFUL. WHEN I FIRST STARTED WORKING I WORKED FOR A CONSTRUCTION COMPANY. I BECAME FRIENDS WITH ONE OF THE PLUMBERS WHO WAS GERMAN. ONE DAY ONE OF THE CARPENTERS DECIDED TO DRAW A SWATSTIKA ON MY FRIENDS TRUCK AND UNFORTUNATELY FOR THIS A--HOLE MY FRIEND SAW HIM DO IT. THIS CARPENTER SPENT THE NEXT 5 HOURS IN EMERGENCY HAVING HIS BROKEN JAW WIRED. MY FRIEND WAS A BOY LIVING IN A SMALL VILLAGE IN GERMANY DURING WORLD WAR II. HIS FATHER WORKED FOR MERCEDES. THE "NAZI'S" KILLED SEVERAL OF THE PEOPLE IN THE VILLAGE BECAUSE THEY WOULDNT TELL WHERE AMERICAN PARATROOPERS WERE LOCATED WHEN THEY LANDED NEAR THIS VILLAGE. KEEP YOUR PREDJUDICED COMMENTS TO YOURSELF AND OFF THIS BOARD IN THE FUTURE. YOU HAVE NO IDEA WHAT A "NAZI" IS BUT MY GERMAN FRIEND DOES!!! HOPEFULLY, COMMENTS LIKE THIS WILL BE EDITED IN THE FUTURE AND WONT BE ALLOWED TO BE POSTED. BTW, MY FATHER FOUGHT THE JAPANESE IN WWII BUT NEVER ONCE COMMENTED ABOUT ANYONE BUYING A "JAP" CAR!. HE FOUGHT FOR OUR FREEDOM OF CHOICE. GET A LIFE!

S2KRAY, I feel you discomfort. The hair on the back of my neck came up when I read that, but I'm sure the writer didn't think before posting it. I've read a lot of things in these forums written in poor taste, but I hope there was no offense intended--that's the way I interpreted it. The writer mistakenly confused the term Nazi, when many Nazis today don't even know where Germany is. It's just a matter of education...and tolerance. That's why I like living in the US of A.
