Would you want "syncrorev" in the S?

No thanks.
I've gotten so used to rev-match downshifting that I do it all the time. I enjoy it. I don't want a computer doing it for me.

I would vote no on this, just because I would never use it. If Honda made a successor, I would rather they work on a compact lightweight larger displacement 6-cyl engine instead of something superfluous like sycrorev.

Daily driving, I double clutch all my downshifts so the syncrorev would not help. When I'm having fun, I want to be in full control and practice my rev-match so the syncrorev wouldn't help there either.

If they made a syncrorev that could double clutch downshifts though, I might be tempted to reconsider.

Nope.

The 370z can keep that one for all I care. And anyone who's swayed over to that camp due to that feature would be happier with that car over the S anyway.

[edit]- I can't drive ANY manual transmission without rev matching. It's just engrained in my head as part of the downshift procedure

Couldn't this be said of syncros?

It wouldn't be a non-selling point, nor a selling point to me. As long as like VSA it could be turned off for AutoX / Track days I see no harm in it. I have a bad knee and am 6'2", and like to sit closer to the steering wheel with my legs more bent then straight. Unfortunately without seat rails this makes heel-toe'ing not the easiest/comfiest of tasks so for DD, I honestly wouldn't mind it. But normal rev matching is easy enough. I guess my point is, for DD I wouldn't mind as long as when I'm getting spirited+ I could turn it off.

my last three cars have had drive by wire TB's, after getting my 02 s2k in october 2009 I can't tell you how much I've missed cable throttle bodies, so no way to synchrorev.
