Would you want "syncrorev" in the S?

Couldn't this be said of syncros?
It's just an another improvement to make it easier to drive well.

I like this guys thinking! Any manual car with synchros is for sissies. Dbl clutch or gtfo!
hahaha! For the record, you don't need to double-clutch on any modern cars, unless your synchros are shot.

no need to double clutch AT ALL. you dont need to disengage the clutch to take it out of gear.

And do you know why that is? Becuase of synchros. Which they added to manual transmissions to make it easier for the average person to drive. Just like Rev Matching on the 370z. All this talking of a pure manual tranny is

Bunch of posers these folks are.

There is no easy way for the driver to "sync" the gears in the transmission- meaning there is no way for the driver to duplicate what synchromesh does from his seat.
There IS an easy way for the driver to rev match from his seat, the syncro rev feature is just for people either too lazy or untalented to do it themselves

Nice try, but not quite the same analogy.

.It's called rev matching and before there were syncros it was what was required to shift; less you grind gears and ruin your tranny.
syncromesh = syncrorev
Same shit, different pile.
I cannot believe we're still talking about this stupid point. Fuel injection is a waste, ABS is a joke, seatbelts are for bad drivers and air bags are for pussies.
Ok, I said it. Let's go live in 1950...

No, becuase deep down it makes me feel all warm and fuzzy that i can rev match and heel toe. If the car did it for me i couldnt tell ppl how awesome i am that i do it.
I think for all the people who drive a manual and never bleep the throttle or heel & toe, syncrorev is a great future. I know that I can't ever match the revs like a computer but I think that's what makes driving even more fun. If all the future cars with manual transmissions came with syncrorev, heel & toe/bleeping of the throttle will be a lost art. I guess with all the paddle shift transmissions, I should be happy that the 370Z comes with manual gearbox.
