Do a search for Prolene and either look at one of his posts and PM him like The Captain says, or you can go to the members section and do a search for him there. There should be an option in his profile that says send a private message to Prolene.

Too bad you aren't closer to LA. Prolene is really good at putting those covers on.

We advise you not to do that, since the fit of the console cover might be adversely affected. Plus the carpet provdes some nice padding for the leather.

My biggest problem with the console install was the wiring connections on the top switch and the flashers. Once I figured this out, it was a snap. Just follow Rick's concise, photo-accompanied directions and you should have zero problems. The cover really adds a nice touch (and gets rid of that fuzzy crap on the console). Thank you, Rick, for the best single mod to our wonderful machines!

installed cover last night - couldn't wait till the weekend.

took me 45 min. and the install is flawless - i installed it really snug and used 1 extra patch of 2-sided tape that i had lying around for the area between head unit cover and gearshift (just to be safe).

man, that thing is cut/patterned to fit perfectly well.

IMO, fully perforated is the ONLY way to go.

rick/james - where are those headrests?????????

james, thanks on the x-brace - just ordered it.

Good choice on the Digrappa X-Brace ... you will love it. If you don't have a lot of "bumpy" roads then I agree with James that an Upper STB is not needed. If you do have bad roads around there, then a STB will really improve the handeling.

On your X-brace, just get the front end as level as possible. Makes the install go faster, and remember to re-torque after a few days of driving.

tpn,

for the most part, i travel on the highway so the roads are decent.

never having had a lower stiffening member on previous cars - i'm not sure i'll know/recognize the need for an upper STB - what should i look for?

re: levelling for x-brace install - i'll get it done at a shop - any standard mechanics hoist should do, right?
