how do you tell if you have a late production 02, im in the market for a S, and the 02 seems like my best bet, glass rear window, trans thing fixed, oil bolts, etc

If I ever have to replace mine...........I'd go with an '02-03.
Not just the glass, but a redesigned roof frame helps reduce the wear.
I've gone thru 2 tops already!!!
Plus the '02-03 have the retuned ECU, but keep the redline (unlike the '04+).

A late production 02 model will have all the TSBs from the earlier cars done along with the upgraded oil jet bolts in the engine.
