And as far as it lacking in certain areas and the need for modding....not true. I believe most of us just want to be different or faster If I had an Enzo I would at least give a custom paint job.

I need to mod the S2000 not neccessarily because it is lacking in any areas, but because if I didn't modify the car, which is my hobby, I would have grown tired of it by now and sold it for another car. I like to install new parts and to change the look of the car so that it stays fresh, if I would have kept it stock I wouldn't have been satisfied for very long no matter how good it was from honda when I drove it out of the showroom. Modding cars is a huge hobby of mine and that is why I never get tired of driving the S everyday because I always have something new for it in the works.

I bought the car in May with no intention of modding. It was good enough for me in stock form. I felt in the end I would save more money by buying this car,as opposed to an RSX or something where I would continue to dump money in it.

It all started when I removed the S2000 emblems off the side.....now I have intake and a testpipe. In the process of getting a T1R 70mm and looking towards a J's header and a set of Ce28ns by summer.
Go with the bbs wheels for the japanese s2000. Technically you're still stock

I voted stock but I've only had my S for a little over 2 months. It's got all the power I need. If I need some go fast, I just get on the CBR929.

I think most of the S2000s sold aren't with factory aero parts so people are surprised when they see it and don't recognize it.

My opinion is that you can not be a "purist" and then say you will modify something on the car (eg stereo). To remain pure you have to keep all original components.

Either you are modified or not. There are no in-betweens.

What if you buy BF Goodrich tires instead of OEM Bridgestone? or what if you put Mobil oil instead of Honda's oil. What if you change your alignment different from what is OEM
