getting pulled over once while running with the flow of traffic in my Rio Yellow 04 was enough to say F'It and get a under the radar Silverstone.

I got officially pulled over more in my old RX8. That thing was a real cop magnet. Stock exhaust and all. I guess it looked more boy racer than my S; dunno.

i too got pulled over for no signal... but he wrote me up and arrested me for wreckless driving... a $2500 ticket... after cuffing me and not reading me my rights.. he asked if i would like to call my dad (i had just turned 23) so i told him i would rather call my wife andf kids asshole... he then chilled out, but still wrote a ton of bs in the report... the judge and prosecution got an earful... as i had planned on sueing the sheriffs department for how horribly wrong i was (sheriff wrote the ticket) and the dropped it to an excessive speed ticket and let me go to school for it. yes i broke the law... but he completely abused his power and violated my rights... not cool going to jail and having your car impounded because some guy thinks i am in my dads convertible... ****ing pigs... never trusted one since... i hope he is happy that he made a person so young completely distrust cops for the rest of my life because he had to power trip...

We have real asshole cops here. They will run 20 over the limit while running radar at oncoming traffic.

Hey Williamson County; howzabout setting a good example!

:-)
I absolutely despise that crap. You aren't above the law because you're a cop.

Before my S2000, I had an older blue dodge stealth in a smaller college town. I was pulled over in that fairly often. One ticket I got was just a small town ticket quota violation. Friday morning at 8AM, I was driving rather ideally, and I got a citation for a lane change with no signal. (I actually had a good reason for it, but that's another issue.) On the 3 mile trip home that afternoon, I saw two different cops on different streets pull the exact same maneuver as I did. I found out that the real reason I received the citation was because the local cops were giving a "driver's education" type seminar at the local high school, and they were basically scaring the kids into driving well by giving the bypassers tickets for mundane violations. Swine. Warnings for that type of garbage are one thing, but tickets? I always find that garbage frustrating.

On the other hand, I've actually had great luck with my S2000. It's a NFR, and I thought it would be candy to the police when I got it! And I'm 25, so I'm not 16-18, but I'm still pretty young. I was pulled over once, but I deserved it, and I somehow didn't get a ticket.

I was cruising in the canyons with the top down, but when I got out of the canyons, I didn't slow the pace like I should have. I was flying along the highway around 90+mph for a few miles. I kept away from most of the traffic (it travels at 75-80mph here), but in all honesty, I was going too fast for a road that has soccer moms with kids and such driving. There's no sense in pissing honest, hard-working people off--I just let my excitement get the best of me. Anyways undercover cop (a dark violet Chevy Lumina if I remember right) pulled me over, out of uniform. I think he was off duty. He took a moment to admired the car. He talked with me for a minute about the car and such, then he asked, completely in earnest, "What can I do to slow you down?" I thought for a second, and frankly said, "Well, if I mentioned this to my wife, that would certainly do it!" He let me go! (I did slow down, and I do remember it, but I was quiet on the subject at home )

In Salt Lake City I've had no problems--nearly all the cops here are doing their job, not harassing people but just trying to make sure the road is safe. Of course traffic violations come up, but safety seems to be the main focus.

With over 2 years of ownership, I've been stopped one time. Coasted through a stop sign while turning right. Got the ticket. Payed the ticket.

I'm on my 2nd S2000, and I've owned the 2 for a combined 3+ years and I've been pulled over exactly.....ZERO TIMES! I speed all the time, but I know where cops sit, and I also invested in a $400 laser detector. That helps!

So my advice to you.....Go get a GOOD radar/laser detector!

Try being 17yrs old and having a loud exhaust on your S

I've been pull pulled for no reason and the cop said the reason I pulled you over because of DWI I was like
4 cop cars pulled up and made me get out of my car
Here comes the bad part, I was next to my aunts house and I see my parents passed by and then the phone call comes and it was all hell for me. Studiped cop let me go after that and siad my passenger had to drive b/c of my expired licsense.

I was pulled over by an officer on foot for making excessive noise (7k rpm first gear).

I got yelled at. My passenger got yelled at. And the most vivid phrases I can remember are :

"You're smiling like shit, you think this is a game"
"Trying to show off for your lady friend are you?"
"Let me see who this car is registered too"

It was fun to say the least. I'm 6' tall and this guy was a head taller than me.
lol he was on foot
