I've had cops pace me but that's about it. I keep an eye on my rearview mirror all the time and I've seen them pull out and stay back a ways, just waiting to see if I do anything.

I did have one cop tell me and a friend (who has a WRX STi) to stop loitering in an empty parking lot about 10pm one night. That was lame but no big deal. I took my time, since I was on private property with no posted signs (it was a car wash and car guys hang out all the time).

Other than that, no issues. I drive "normally" 99% of the time, only choosing to really do anything ticketable while cornering (letting the tail out a bit). Speeding really doesn't do much for me...

Never been pulled over once in over 2 years and I have nor adar detector. I've blown past my fair share of cops at 80+mph. I typically cruise highway between 80 and 85 all day, and I drive my S a lot. I've also pegged it a couple times only to look up and see a popo in the rear view. I also have been too lazy to put up my new registration sticker for a 3 months, and I've driven past a cop waiting at the end of my highway off ramp probably five times in this period.

I've been pretty lucky I guess.

I've been stopped twice for speeding in my life and received tickets both times.
Once for having a tail light out, and subsequently I also had outdated registration, no insurance card, no license on me not even a warning.
Once for no seatbelt where I got a ticket.

I've been pulled over 4-5 times in my s2k. Once for speeding. Go figure. I had the car since I was 18 and I'm still on my parents insurance even though I dont live with them...thank god. My dad was telling me a few days ago he pays about $9,000 a year to keep my little brother and me on his insurance. Yiikes!
