Your though on buying a demo S
There's an '05 w/ 14k miles that I'm looking at. The current owner bought it with 4k miles from a Honda dealer last year. I asked the owner if it were a demo and they're weren't sure, they said it was likely a demo. I still think that's quite a lot of miles for a demo. Is it worth the risk? What are the negatives if the engine weren't broken in correctly? What should I look for? The only reason I'm really consider this is because it's GPW and it's my top choice of color.
Cars that stick around the dealership inevitably get driven by the staff.
Tq, I'm not sure what to advise you. What you're talking about is a used car, plain and simple. I guess you should compare with other similar models and look for a lower price because of the uncertain history of the car (oh, do a CARFAX for sure on this one).
Almost certainly, whoever bought the car from a dealer with 4000 miles must've gotten the car for used car prices. They would've been insane to pay a lot for that. You can reap the benefits by getting yourself a low price.
