Default 1st 2.5L Inlinepro Stroker Kit

Well its done and today it has just under 650mi. on it. I started the new thread as the old one was well, OLD over 4 months old. Right now it needs 350mi. more to be broken in tuned and dynoed then were good to go! No problems so far other then it doesnt like to start that easily, i think i need a new battery to solve this. Low end tourque seems to be improved quite stongley. The motor sounds more agressive, deeper and throtier as well. The intake and exhaust notes are more exagerated with both sounding much meaner. Hopefully it will be tuned and good to go by the end of the week, I'll post more as we go along.

Here are some current pics as of tonight:Pics

I am happy to see that you have your car running again. I hope that you decide to get an EMS to know the true potential of the setup.

What size bore did you end up with? Also, is it a custom crank, or did you use an 04 crank?

I assume you have revved it out to 9000?

Thanks

Chris

I dont know if were going to use EMS yet or not but probly not, Jhon wants to ditch the AFC for soemthing better we might go with a k series hondata and adapt it over for the S2000 or I may use an E- Manage which is kinda inbetween an AFC and EMS or Hondata. I really want to see this done so it can become an affardable option instaed of the EMS. IMO some people have the EMS and dont get it FULLY tuned and use all the advantadges of EMS. Also the Hondata is almost as a complete a system as the EMS and is easier and quicker to tune and set up. The car is running on the AFC for now and no i haven't gotten 9k yet i havent even hit vtec yet thats why its so hard for me to say what its going to make. The bore and stroke on the motor ended up to be 89.5x99. The crank is a custom crank manufactured to InlinePro's Specs, however Inline won't tell me who manufactures the crank. The crank is really the key part to this motor.

I saw that Inline Pro made a car with their turbo kit that used a VAFC, and it was rather puzzling to me as to why they didn't use the EMS. I guess you'd have to trust me when I say that it's truely your best option.... But I don't really have any qualifications to back it up.

I am so convinced of this, I can't see any reason why anyone would choose anything else for a setup like yours - besides just not spending the time on it to see it's true power and potential. Needless to say, I hope that you spend the cash, and sway Inline Pro towards the EMS.
