Default 2 issues: Stikers & Rattle in the right rear

So, a month ago I take my S2000 for a trip to the beach. The top is INSANELY loud and I can't believe Honda would sell a vehicle that's louder than a Jeep Wrangler. The stock radio wasn't helping my enjoyment of the cruise either. So after looking here, I found out about the striker replacement. Fast forward a month, my car goes in for the 30k service and viola, they corroborate the striker theory and I get them replaced today under warranty. Difference was stunning. I could now have a casual conversation in the car at 80mph. Thanks to all the folk here for bringing this issue to my attention.

Second issue. A few weeks ago, I noticed a growing issue in the right rear. As I would hit potholes or corrugations in the road, I'd get a rattle from the back. The problem grew worse, and I asked them to sort it out when I went in for 30k. They thought it was a loose spare tire bracket, tightened it, and sent me on my way, but that wasn't it. I took it back today, and they spent more time on it. They said it sounds like a bad strut.

Mind you, the car has about 30,300 miles on it. Has anyone else seen a strut go bad in that period of time? I go out of my way to avoid potholes and such in the street. I have the stock rims so the car is seeing any more stress in the suspension due to low-profile tires. I'd love to hear thoughts on this. They have ordered me a new strut, and will install it early next week.

You sure it's not the trunk springs rattling? I get that now that now at 33k. Haven't had time to get some rubber to put between the two trunk springs.

Where they heck are they? That may be it. But I'm gonna get a new strut out of the deal anyway..

It rubs in all those spots and rattles. It does it while driving, and also when I close the trunk.

Cool - I have just noticed a bit of a rattling (kinda like engine detonation only shorter) coming from the rear whenever I hit a big bump with my rear wheels.

I recently had my car serviced so hopefully they just upset the position of the trunk springs whilst checking the spare tyre or something.

Now I know what to check first!
