2004 engine into 2006+?
Looking at boosting a 2006 ap2.
Just looking down the road. If I pop the motor it looks like 04-05 engines are readily available. Would these by able to be swapped jnto the 06 no problems?

you will need to use your old cylinder head or exchange the camshafts and the valve cover so you can use the different sensor form the 06+ ecu 2. you will need to remove the crankcase pulley and the aluminum plate to exchange the trigger wheel for the different crankcase sensor 3. use the dbw throttle body. that's all I know. maybe there is more you have to do good luck!
You need to swap in the 06+ cams or cam triggers
You need a 06+ intake manifold, throttle body, and fuel rail/injectors
you need to cap off the 2AIR port on the intake manifold
you need 06+ Oxygen sensors
You need an 06+ crank trigger (remove the oil pan and front cover to do this)
You need a 06+ ECU
I think that's it
I'm not sure that would be easier though. And it won't pass emissions

I had a 06+ F22C comple engine and a 04-05 cylinder head as well. (because short block is damaged)
Can I only replace the crank trigger wheel then put the 06+ engine onto my 2004 S2000?
I read so many article but did find very firm answer.
