AC compressor re-installed..worth it?

Thanks for the info! It’s very much appreciated. I don’t have a vacuum so I’m taking it to a shop that specializes in AC systems. I’ll pass along what you said. Hopefully he can get me back and running in no time.

An AC specialty shop likely has an idiot proof machine and people that know all of this, maybe not the type of compressor oil(pag46), but 4oz of oil is pretty standard with a lot of Honda compressors, as is the oil type.

The good news here is ac is ac. Unlike a lot of other parts on our cars that are unique, the ac is pretty standard stuff. An ac speciality shop is perfect.
